Web with tags, iOS without tags???

I love clean design but I had to switch back to Instapaper. Im confused. Could you tell me how is possible that web version is with Tags and iOS for iPhone is without Tags?? This is Joke?

Thoughtful

I have spent a considerable amount of time using the three main read latter apps that I know of Instapaper, Pocket and this. I always found myself compelled to come back to Readability. I know that the font and layout are a subjective thing but I really like the fonts available here and find them pleasing to use to read. The layout and ease of navigation make finding, selecting and moving articles quick and painless. Also the animation of the share extension is great and I really enjoy using it. I understand that is a very small detail, but I love small details, and it is clear that the team behind Readability love them as well. My only complaint is I would love to make use of tags through the iOS app because I have a large amount of varied articles and more ways to organize would come in handy.

Used to be 5 Star

App now is not translating Twitter links in last update. Now the links are not opening. Defeats the whole purpose of using the app. Please fix. Developer: Feel free to contact me and I can screen capture the defect.

Premium reading experience!

Keep up the good work!

Unreliable!

Trying to use it with Facebook Paper app and I cant set it to be the default read later app. Lots of login issues as well.

Great Article Collector

Continues to work great even in iOS 8. I usually discover medium to long articles on my iPhone while browsing Twitter or reddit and send them to Readability for later enjoyment on my iPads larger screen.

What happened?

This worked well for a while, but my browser buttons disappeared.

Good ... but could be better

I do like that this allows me to save an article to read later and that I can access that article on any of my devices or my computer. Online I am able to tag articles with my own custom tags, but heck if I can figure out how (or if) those tags are accessible through the app. Next on my wish list is the ability to highlight passages. If I read an article and find a part of it important enough that I might want to go back and reference it I should be able to highlight that. Because we all know we dont have time to go back and read the whole article looking for that one thing we know we read in that article.

Blah

I had to quit using this app and reluctantly switch to Pocket after this last change. 100% because of the fonts and typography. If Im gonna spend a large amount of time starring at words, I want to at least be able to tolerate the look of them. I never did like Readabilitys fonts, but at least when I had an internet connection I could read online instead of through the app and could select a pleasant font to read. You guys use to not have the bloated margins that Pocket use to have, but now you guys have that problem and they dont. You use to be able to adjust the size of fonts in Readability, but now it just jumps from tiny to suddenly enormous. After all the requests for tags you finally added them, but then took them out for some reason. That was the best thing you had going for you.

Love it

It makes articles much easier to read on the web. It easily sends articles to my kindle. It integrates across both and iPhone. And it works without any problems. Yep, thats everything I want.

Open-in-Safari missing feature.

The app should be more clever than that. Well, what if I want to open the webpage in Safari because it not well-formatted in Readability. Well, Now, i copy link and go to Safari then click paste link! Thats hurts a lot. #open_in_safari NEEDED! Four stars now and one more on next update! Thanks developers great, elegant and neat reading-later app.

Love it!

I have all three of the major read it later apps but Readability is the one on my home screen. I love the clean design of the articles and typography.

feeling abandoned?

Many bugs to fix and additions needed to catch up to Pocket and Instapaper (like add tags/categories). Great app, esp ux. Hope its maintained...

Mostly great, but NEEDS tag support

Im mostly a big fan of this app; its fast, it gets out of your way, and (contrary to others) I like the typography. It gets a small ding from me because the UI isnt very learnable. This is an inevitable trade off, inasmuch as the app tries to stay out of the way as much as possible. Once you learn the gestures involved in moving through your queue of saved articles, I appreciate most of the effort. Sometimes, however, it causes frustration. (Prime example: To copy a link to Readability from Safari on iOS, you copy the link and open Readability; it will magically notice that you have copied a link and ask you to save it. All well and good, but I never would have figured this out without an internet search. Having a button to save to Readability on a browsers share sheet makes a lot more sense.) The main frustration I have with the app is tags. The tagging feature is fully-formed on the browser version of Readability, but it is difficult for me to commit to it when I cant also add or edit rags on the phone. In general, this app would get five stars from me if the adding and editing features were on par (including UX) with its article viewing features, and with the browser-based versions of the app. If you never want to add or organize articles on your phone, its superb. If you do, its a bit frustrating. Hopefully they will address this gap in future versions.

Stopped working properly

For some reason the app no longer pulls in newly saved links. I have to delete, redownload and relogin the app in order for articles to come in. It was great until this problem.

Beautiful

I really love how this app looks and works, at least on my device which is iPad Air iOS 7; not really interested in iOS 8. But speaking of iOS 8: I think the biggest advantage of Pocket over this app used to be that more apps used to incorporate sharing = saving to Pocket, and now with extensions on iOS 8, the two apps should become equivalent as far as that goes, and maybe Readability will catch up in popularity. I am a long time Pocket user and I like Pocket fine, but I was curious to try Readability before it gets too iOS 8ified. Im super glad I did because I enjoy it much more than Pocket. Sharing web pages to my Readability account is actually very easy even in iOS 7 because I get a Readability email address, and even iOS 7 allows sharing via that from any browser and many other apps. Sharing via that address gives the equivalent result as a dedicated Readability share button. Plus Tweetbot does have a built in send-to-Readability feature. It is also possible to share either to a kindle or your synced Readability account using a browser extension on your desktop computer. It has optional social features but those are very non-intrusive, visible only if I intentionally look, for which Im very grateful (because Im not social -- one of the reasons why I am not all that interested in iOS 8).

Wont let me log in

Username/Pass works online but not in the app. Deleted/reinstalled but issue persists... I hope they fix it. I loved this app.

Abandoned?!

What the hell happened to this app?! It was once one of the best apps on the App Store and now its broken and seemingly left for dead

Website better than this app

Cant send to my Kindle Paperwhite as I can on the website. Deleted the app. I was looking forward to it working.

Was expecting website-like functionality

Cant send to the kindle nor can tag articles. I love to read from my kindle, not from my phone.
